Meal Service
Meals at this facility are warm, well balanced, nutritious, child friendly and follow the guidelines of the Canada Food Guide. We serve a breakfast in the morning, lunch and an afternoon snack. All meals are prepared onsite and our four-week menu is posted by the door as you enter the daycare. All meals served at the daycare are prepared on site by the daycare cook who has a current and up to date food handling course certificate.
Children with special dietary needs, allergies or specific food restrictions will be asked to provide lunch and snacks from home which can be warmed up and served at meal times. The center also, provides Homo and 2% milk and we ask that any children who are still drinking formula or another brand of milk supply that from home as well.
We are a PEANUT FREE center meaning we do not serve any peanut products and we ask that parents do not send snacks for their children that contain peanuts, this includes peanut butter. Foods brought from home that contain peanuts will not be served at the daycare. We also do not serve pork products.
